Young people are facing an unprecedented mental health crisis. Even before the pandemic, rates of depression, anxiety and suicidal thought among youth were on the rise. Seven of 10 public schools report that the number of students seeking mental health services has increased since 2020. Educators are working overtime to meet their behavioral health needs. Fortunately, Morgan Children’s Fund has responded with levels of support and efforts to help connect children with mental health support and community activities.
Increasing support for young people’s mental health is critical. Supported by donations, Morgan Children’s fund can offer accessible, effective behavioral health to support our children. It can be challenging for some families to get mental health care for their children.

Mental & Behavioral Health Services for Children
Nearly 1 in 5 children have a mental, emotional, or behavioral disorder1, such as anxiety or depression, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), disruptive behavior disorder, or Tourette syndrome. Children with these disorders benefit from early diagnosis and treatment.
Unfortunately, only about 20% of children with mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders receive care from a specialized mental health care provider2. In addition, many children with other types of developmental and learning disorders may also have difficulty with emotions or behavior and need treatment.
Morgan Mental Health Group is committed to helping children and families get the mental health care they need.
